‘In a small city on the northend of the planet of Earth, Reviews are occurring -- the results of which could dramatically or not at all affect things on a opinionated scale. For within the dingy corridors of the truck backseat, the lone passenger of a devastatingly boring trip has expertly started listening their way into the story mentioned above
A passenger known as Mjax.

Hello, Normally i take a more academic personage when posting reviews or at all on this little blog but i don't feel like it. Lets get into this Story shall we?

Despite my disinterest in most Dalek stories, The Juggernauts is first and foremost a Mel story, with a bit of the title thrown in for good measure.

The story follows mel mainly and only pops back to the doctor occasionally til they meet up again, and frankly it really works as Mel as a character and Bonnie her actor, soar in this story. You won't be left wanting for the doctor much at all, if youre anything like me; Mel's the focus of this story as I alluded to, and of course her characteristics which were basically ignored in The TV Era, which is to say she's an 80s computer whiz with charisma of an actress. This gets her brownie points with all of the guest cast, and ties into and out of and around the story in ways i refuse to go into because spoilers. Of course this is Doctor Who, but it's also Mel's Story.

But if you Do want six, and especially Snarky Six you're in for a treat. Colin's doctor can't go five minutes without dunking on someone in this story with biting sarcasm but it completely fits his characterization. Six tries his best to be there for Mel in every situation they come across, acts as a true friend, my only real complaint would be how casually his sudden appearance is treated by most of the cast. It might not seem jarring at first but it gets compounded when youve done as many stories as I have.

There is an obvious thing I cannot really avoid talking about and thats the appearance of a very recurrent element.

The romantic B plot.

Jokes aside there is one of those and it's pretty integral yet still just the B plot which is a bit disappointing as it really didn't need to be present if they couldn't dedicate time to it.

The other element is Dave Ross, who's excellent in this story and you really get invested in how he ties into everything, even if the ending is a bit predictable from a mile away.

Overall I really enjoyed The Juggernauts and I think it continues to show how colin's era was absolutely robbed of being the best it couldve been.

That's a A+ Rank from me Chief!
